MMA (Myspace Model Agency)
Fashion brand Costume National chose its models for the Fall / Winter 2008 campaign for the C’N'C line not from a model agency but by ’scouting’ Myspace in the way that modelscouts roam the streets of inner city shopping streets.

Designer Ennio Capasa chose 11 non-models which he announced on his Myspace profile page. Models where rated not only on looks but also on creativity.

I was a bit bored last week, so I edited some old Bert & Ernie episodes to the sound of M.O.P.’s Ante Up.
Its on 50k users now, wondering to see how this will ‘long-tail’. The M.O.P guys must be very happy with this guy!

Low Pants = Jail Time

Wearing saggy pants in the city of Flint (USA) is now officially classified as Criminal Behaviour: it can send you to jail for 93 days to a year and/or $500 in fines.
Police Chief David Dicks, who took over the Flint (yes, that same Flint from Moores’ Roger and Me) police department last month on an interim basis, announced that his officers would start arresting people wearing saggy pants that expose skivvies, boxer shorts or bare bottoms.
Complete lowdown (ha!) here (via Tobias)
I think people who pull their jeans up all the way to their shoulders should also be sent to jail - perhaps even a bit longer.
My ‘Things That Look Like Smiley Faces’ Entry
Spotted this ’smiley face’ on the NDSM area in Amsterdam North so took this pic with my Blackberry (it needs a better camera!) and kindly submitted it to the flickr things-that-look-like-smiley-faces pool. Cool.

Don’t Be Suprised If You Get Fondled?

My friend Louis spotted this sign in Kyoto, Japan. I would love to find out what this is trying to communicate?

Also, I’m loving these beautiful posters for Obama by Obey Giant:

Graffiti Removal Hotline

Brilliant. The fact that the color scheme is the same as the post below is a coincidence. No really. (via Wooster).
