MMA (Myspace Model Agency)
Fashion brand Costume National chose its models for the Fall / Winter 2008 campaign for the C’N'C line not from a model agency but by ’scouting’ Myspace in the way that modelscouts roam the streets of inner city shopping streets.
Designer Ennio Capasa chose 11 non-models which he announced on his Myspace profile page. Models where rated not only on looks but also on creativity.

Low Pants = Jail Time
Wearing saggy pants in the city of Flint (USA) is now officially classified as Criminal Behaviour: it can send you to jail for 93 days to a year and/or $500 in fines.
Police Chief David Dicks, who took over the Flint (yes, that same Flint from Moores’ Roger and Me) police department last month on an interim basis, announced that his officers would start arresting people wearing saggy pants that expose skivvies, boxer shorts or bare bottoms.

I think people who pull their jeans up all the way to their shoulders should also be sent to jail - perhaps even a bit longer.

Kozyndan @ Maxalot Gallery in Amsterdam
A few weeks ago I was invited to the exhibition opening of artist-duo Kozyndan at the new Maxalot gallery in Amsterdam.
I’ve been meaning to blog about this for weeks now and while looking up photos of the piece above (click to enlarge - its nice) on flickr the first search result I got was a picture with… me in it?
On closer inspection we quite look the arty bunch. Look at all these arms! Posers ;)

The GPS Generated Self Portrait
With the help of a GPS device and DHL, I have drawn a self portrait on our planet. My pen was a briefcase containing the GPS device, being sent around the world. The paths the briefcase took around the globe became the strokes of the drawing.

I really enjoyed this Samsung viral - I’ve actually watched the whole two minutes without ’scrubbing’ the videotimeline which I normally do. Probably because the guy in the video seems to ‘rush through it all’, which feels like he does the scrubbing for you ;)
I wonder what agency did it..?
