Adfoblog / Waitless.org

I’m a sucker for simple, clever ideas. Waitless.org, a new online campaign for Sprint done by Goodby Silverstein, fits that description in every way - its got that instant gratification vibe to it.

The time calculator calculates how much time you spend on a certain thing in your life, and ’sprintcuts’ are tutorials on how to do stuff faster so you’ll waste less time doing them.

I really like this.

This Blew Me Away: Seam Carving

imagestretch.jpg

At first I thought this was going to be a boring old Windows 95 presentation.. but I was wrong. This is really stunning - the sort of technology that is going to be all over the shop in no time. They call it Seam Carving for Content-Aware Image Resizing and from a marketing perspective this might be a bit much for a name. Maybe just call it Seca, or something.

House For Sale: $76,000,000

Venture capitalist Bill Stensrud is selling his Southern California waterfront mansion in San Diego for $76 million. It made me think of this entry I posted back in March.

Back from the Cote

walkinginfrance.jpg

We were in the Cote D’Azur where we had a great stay at our friends Sandrine and Regis’ place. A highlight surely was the genuine french diner that Sandrines’ mother made us - here we’re walking back to the house after having a look around the organic gardens.

The dog is called Slim and he didn’t really fancy me.

The picture is taken with a Blackberry 8300, which has a decent camera for a phone I think, here’s another one.

New Company!

konglogo_def.jpg

This evening we went out for drinks to celebrate the kickoff of a really exciting project we are working on. We all think this really is something quite different and we are lucky - blessed - to work with some amazing talent and a great client to get this off the ground and onto this thing we call The Interwebs.

This might all sound a bit vague I guess, but once the ‘soft launch‘ is on, you’ll read about it here..

I’m off for a short holiday now - Big Thanks to Asi Metric for supplying a ton of wicked new tunes & mixes to fill my iPod - nice one mate! : )
