A day on the Town

Cathy came over for the weekend and we decided to take a walk to the Tate Modern museum and check out the work of Carsten Höller - a very good recommendation by quite a few Pokers. The introduction on the Tate website reads ‘experience his exploration of communal human experience‘ - basically that means going down a slide. We loved it.
Other highlights included the work of Richard Hamilton (1 2 3 pieces next to eachother) and the Video Quartet by Christian Marclay - a composition of hundreds of film clips edited together to create a symphony of sound and vision. Brilliant.
The lunch in sunny Notting Hill / Portobello Market afterwards was pretty good too, by the way.
